Whew - a month late but stoptheban.ca now has most of the blanks filled in. I'm so excited and a monumental and massive THANK YOU to my friend Ross for making this happen. We've been getting many hundreds of visitors but they were going mostly ungreeted. To all of you who visited and registered your opposition - THANK YOU!!!
This is only the beginning. stoptheban.ca plans to arm all of you and many many more to spread the word and bring the numbers up. Watch for downloads that allow you to print business card sized ads for the site so you can carry them with you, spread the word and generate traffic to the site.
For now though, please take a few minutes to read through the site and find out where the concept came from. Happy to have you here and wanted to share the excitement at this progress, for it is progress indeed.

Wow! I am appalled that Ontario has done such an undemocratic thing! I live in BC with 2 rescued dogs, neither of pitbull descent but I believe that it is not the dogs but the owners who are responsible for the dog's behaviour and control there of. Banning this or any other breed is absurd! What if we did the proper thing by strengthening animal abuse laws?penalties and banning irresponsible people from acquiring animals? Now that makes more sense!
Today I whoke up a criminal, not for something I've done but for a choose I made 16 years ago. I bought my first Staffy Bull. The best dog, well one of the best. Now I have 3 Staffys and an Am. Staff unfortunatly we live in Ontario. This ban has painted me with the same brush as a common criminal, limiting what I can do or where I go with my pets, this is so unfair. The fact that I show my dogs, collectivly they have over 40 international titles between them dosn't matter, they are still PIT BULLS, Bad dogs, Banned Dogs. We must work together to make this right, for all of us who have these great dogs. Such a small percentage are truly bad and it is so sad that the media has mislead the public to the piont of fear, but my Am Staff winning a high in trial just won't sell papers. I hope this has not gone to far, I feel so helpless, everyday I work to open peoples eye to the truth, but will it be enough....
